I disagree with the curse of elements, I think curse of agony does more damage. If theres a mage in the group CoE will up their dps though.

The Opening Rotation expects the Destruction Warlock to assist themselves and the raid by using Curse of the Elements and refreshing it when necessary, followed up with:

Immolate > Incinerate (to be used until 5 seconds are left on Immolate) > Chaos Bolt > Conflagrate

If the Warlock feels it necessary, Life Tap may also be used at the end of every rotation.

Elements boosts all caster DPS since 2.4 or maybe earlier. I personally only use it on fights that won't last longer then a minute. Otherwise it's Curse of Doom. Although I've been fortunate enough to raid with another lock that uses CoE exclusively.

On the short fights in that case Agony is your next best bet, but Doom should be your boss fight curse if another lock is using elements.

You should be glyphed into conflag. It's will boost you DPS by about 1k. I'd also glyph into life tap. It boosts yours spell damage and since 3.2 the buff last 40 seconds instead of 20. Refresh as the timer runs out and you will have a nice increase in DPS.

My rotation is CoD > Immolate > Conflag > Chaos Bolt > Corruption > Incinerate filler and then refresh as timers run out. I will sometimes cast corruption before immo too if the fight has me moving to a position and I can't stand and cast.
